A warm, service-led site for a New York studio that designs characterful homes, built to feel handmade rather than templated.

problem
Hearth & Hollow is a spec project about warmth. The made-up studio designs homes around natural light, honest materials, and everyday rituals, so a cold, gridded corporate site would fight the whole idea. The challenge was to build something that clearly sells five services and a full-service process, but still reads soft, human, and grounded.
solution
I designed and built the site in Framer with a warmer, more textured feel: earthy tones, natural spacing, and copy that talks like a person. Services are laid out as five clear offers from residential design to turnkey delivery, a portfolio shows the range, and a Get a Quote action runs through the page for anyone ready to start. An FAQ handles the practical questions up front.
The idea
I wanted to prove to myself that a conversion-focused site does not have to feel clinical. Hearth & Hollow leans into warmth on purpose, the way a good home does.
What I did
I led with a plain-spoken hero and a short line about how the studio actually works with people. The five services are each given a number and a sentence in everyday language, so the offer is obvious without reading like a spec sheet. The portfolio suggests range, the testimonials add trust, and the FAQ clears the last few doubts before someone asks for a quote.
The build
Designed and built in Framer, fully responsive, with a warm palette and soft motion that keeps things calm. The Get a Quote button repeats at every natural decision point so the path forward is always in reach.
What I took from it
This piece was about tone. It is a hypothetical studio, but it taught me how to keep a site friendly and human while still doing the commercial work of turning visitors into enquiries.
